How about a healthier version of the infamous fluffy whipped coffee to start the week?
The latest social media craze of whipped coffee seemed to fill our feed until we had to ask, “How do we make this??”. If you’re looking to try out the airy, delicious looking coffee treat, we’ve got the details you need to know.
What You Need:
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 1 cup milk (Can be whole, skim, oat, soy, almond or cashew- you pick!)
Put the instant coffee in a bowl. Add the 2 tablespoons of hot water, and mix until the coffee is completely dissolved.
Stir in coconut sugar. Then using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture until it’s thick and frothy. This will take a few minutes.
Partially fill a glass with some ice cubes and your alt-milk of choice, leaving room for the coffee. Add any other preferred flavorings (vanilla, hazelnut). Spoon or pour the whipped coffee on top to finish off the drink.
